Ashlyn Filippone is an actress and singer originally from the Bay Area. Currently residing in Southern California, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine this summer with her B.F.A. in Music Theatre. Ashlyn has had an appreciation for the arts from a young age, coming from a family of Irish step dancers. Music has been an outlet for her since she could talk, with some of her first memories being singing Disney karaoke with her parents. She has had the privilege of performing in both mainstage and independent projects at UC Irvine, with her favorites being those in which she gets to step into the shoes of strong women. Outside of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, Ashlyn is a member of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, where she has benefitted from learning about other majors, giving her an encompassing sense of what the UCI community has to offer (while furthering her love for all things pink). In her free time, she loves to read, attend workout classes (big cycling fan), and play with her nephew! After graduation, she plans on moving to New York, and pursuing her dreams of acting.
